David Deron Haye (born 13 October 1980 in Lambeth, London) is an English professional boxer, and current WBA World Heavyweight Champion . In 1999, Haye participated at the world amateur championships in Houston, Texas, USA at light-heavyweight but was defeated by American Michael Simms early in the contest.Since 2005, Klitschko has been the dominant force in the heavyweight division, defeating a majority of the top heavyweights in the rankings. When Klitschko won the IBF title against Chris Byrd there were four separate heavyweight champions. Since then he has unified the IBF and WBO belts and defeated the WBA champion in recess.

Wladimir Klitschko is a Ukrainian heavyweight boxer. Wladimir is the IBF, IBO, WBO and Ring Magazine Champion. His older brother Vitali Klitschko is the current WBC champion. Wladimir is the longest reigning Heavyweight Champion in history for the IBF, WBO & IBO heavyweight titles, both in measurements of defenses and time. As of 2011, Ring Magazine rates Klitschko as the number five pound-for-pound boxer in the world.

World heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko will enter the ring against old-time foe David Haye on July 2 for a battle to be hosted by Hamburg, Germany. The Wladimir Klitschko vs David Haye battle will be telecasted live by HBO in USA. Some of the other partners are Sky Box Office in the UK and RTL in Germany.

Interestingly, the venue can host up to 55k people, and that will mean that the support for either boxer will be huge. And given the tremendous anticipation associated with this Wladimir Klitschko versus David Haye fight, one can expect the venue to be packed to the rafters.

Earlier, the two were expected to fight in 2009, but Haye cited injury as a reason to opt out of the fight. However, things look good for this battle now that everything seemed to have worked just fine.

Haye has already signalled his intentions by rejecting a handshake with Klitschko and it will be interesting to see whether he can keep up with that facade in the boxing ring as well.
