David Haye's world heavyweight title fight with Wladimir Klitschko will take place on 2 July in Hamburg.
After protracted negotiations, WBA champion Haye and IBF and WBO holder Klitschko agreed to fight last month with the venue and date undecided.
But both camps have confirmed the 57,000-capacity Imtech Arena would stage the unification contest.
"I'd fight him anywhere, so long as the location comes with a ring and a ref that can count to 10," said Haye.
"By the time I've finished with Wladimir, he won't know where he is anyway."
Klitschko's manager Bernd Boente said: "We had different options and held negotiations in other countries. Switzerland was in play, Ukraine and different options in Germany.
"But it was always the case that Adam Booth [Haye's manager] and myself discussed all these things, such as the different business options on the table, as partners, and then made the decision together yesterday [Tuesday] that we'd go to Hamburg."
Haye added: "Hamburg is an accessible city for a lot of British fans, so I'm expecting a huge turnout for what is undoubtedly the biggest boxing event of the year.
"I think every city in mainland Europe and beyond wanted to stage this fight, and that shows just what an appealing event it is.
In 2008 after becoming the unified Cruserweight champion of the world, David Haye moved up to heavyweight.Klitschko welcomed the challenge of Haye.Talks started immediately between Wladimir and Haye but came to nothing.Haye reiterated a challenge to Klitschko to fight him in 2009.In his second fight, he wanted to fight JD Chapman who he claimed was a similar syle to the Klitschko's.Haye also added that the heavyweight division was scared of him.In July 2008 Wladimir Klitschko said that Haye was a possible opponent for him to fight next.Haye started to call out the Klitschkos after he knocked out Monte Barret in the 5th round in 2008.In late 2008 a contract was signed between Haye and Vitali to fight in the summer.However Klitschko pulled out and chose to fight mandatory, Carlos Gomez.Haye then turned his sights to Wladimir.In 2009 after protracted talks,Wladimir agreed to fight Haye on the 20th June in Gelsenkirchen, Germany.In the build up to that fight Klitschko labeled Haye an 'embarrassment' after Haye appeared wearing a T-shirt with the Klitschko's severed heads.He also vowed to knock Haye out in the 12th round.Haye pulled out of the fight claiming a back injury, and hoped to postpone the fight until July 11.This did not happen and Haye was replaced by Ruslan Chagaev.Since then both Vitali and Wladimir have wanted to fight Haye. With Vitali wanting to have a fight with Haye in 2010 which never happened.While Haye won the WBA title after defeating Nikolay Valuev.
